Simply Bhutan is an interactive 'living' museum that gives a quick introduction to various aspects of traditional life in Bhutan. Visitors are greeted with a shot of local arra (rice spirit), before being guided through mocked-up village scenes. Along the way, you can dress up in traditional clothes, try out archery and hear songs sung by Bhutanese women as they build houses out of rammed earth. It's touristy, but a good family experience.  

Takin Preservation Center

The Takin Preservation Center, located near Thimphu, Bhutan, is a

sanctuary dedicated to the conservation of the nation's unique and revered animal, the takin. Transfer to Punakha

Punakha Dzong

Punakha     Dzong, also Known as Pungtang Dechen Phodrang Dzong, is a majestic fortress monastery located at  the confluence of the Mo Chhu and Pho  Chhu rivers in Punakha, Bhutan. Built  in the 17th century, it served as the administrative and religious center of Punakha Suspension bridge the region. Renowned for its grandeur  and architectural splendor, Punakha Dzong boasts intricate woodwork, beautiful murals, and serene courtyards. It holds historical significance and continues to be an active religious center and administrative headquarters in Bhutan. At 160m long, this bridge northeast of Punakha Dzong is one of Bhutan’s longest suspension bridges and it’s fun to cross the swaying, prayer-flag- draped walkway over the Pho Chhu. The drive here from the dzong takes you past a royal palace and a cremation ground.

Transfer to Phobjikha

Day 04 :
Transfer to Paro

Day 05 :
Hike to Taktsang for the blessings

Paro Taktsang is one of Bhutan's most revered and spectacular monasteries, perched precariously on a Cliffside. It holds immerse religious significance as it is believed to be where Guru Rinpochoe meditated in the 8" century, introducing Buddhism to Bhutan. The monastery complex consists of temples, meditation caves, and stunning viewpoint.
